Article about Entertaiment
entente: a social activity involving an exchange of ideas or the pursuit of pleasure. (from Middle French entretenement, from Old French entretener) Entertainment is an object of consumer activity that requires a text to be consumed, communicates with the audience through external stimulus, offers pleasure, and involves an audience in a passive form. Bates and Ferri (2010) argue that entertainment entails six elements: objectivity, communication, external stimulus, pleasure, audience and passivity.
